I like to use it. You just roll it 180 on the right, and the waste gets caught up in a long container. You pull it out then dump it.Needs different design for the drawer and for the sifting grate! The grate keep slipping out of it's containment slots when you are rolling it, even when you don't have a lot of litter in there. This in turn causes me to have to pour the litter and poop that's in the drawer ,through a hand dipper back into the box area in order to sift the poop out and put the litter back in. If you aren't careful the drawer, as it has nothing around the edge, allows the litter to roll out onto the floor. For the price of the box more could be done to make this unit a better one for the same price, no increase.Ok so my cat literally thought this was a play hut or something at first but she got the hint when she noticed her old littler box was gone. It’s big enough for her and she is a full grown cat. Cleaning is now super easy and not stinky like before. Some other people complained that the litter falls out the cracks but I have not had that happen at all. We tip the box over slowly and it has been mess free. This has been a game changer for sure. If you are on the fence about buying this- just do it. It’s worth the money in my opinion.I actually have 2 of these. A smaller one is the premier model. I kind of wish I would have spent the extra money. The premier model is much better quality.So I waited awhile to make this review. I have 3 cats and one box. This is by far the best box I have had yet. For the price I can’t believe it works so well. I have to do it daily or more then once because I have 3 cats but I like itI've had this for a year now. Almost immediately, I had to reinforce the side attachment, and did so by drilling a hole through and installing a bold-and-nut. That serves the purpose well, but a proper securing should have been part of the original design.The remaining problem is that the litter-screen flops around when rolling the box to operate it. This isn't a problem for the screening process--but it will stay in a position to occupy a 1/3 of the space for the cats, so it has to be pushed back into position. And yes, this means that it does not operate 'hands away from the littler', in the manner that it should. Then again, I figure that I should be washing my hands after cleaning the litter (toxoplasmosis and cats, you know...), so I'm not counting that in my points grading.The cats use it, and I don't have to bend over to scoop. But the manufacturers need to do some minor re-design work.I ordered this to make my life easier with having 2 cats and a dog to manage. I also am caring for my 93 year old mom who is requiring more care. I LOVE litter box. The clumps go into the tray and can be easily be emptied into the bags the litter comes in. I highly recommend this to anyone.It is not exactly 'self cleaning', but very little effort! You just roll it over... pull out the tray and dump .... add more litter when it gets low... and we clean ours out completely over few weeks.. as they do go on the plastic somewhat (at least mine do).
