We have a keypad entry door lock. It’s great, love not having to carry a key. However! If the battery runs out and you’re out, you’re out of luck. We got this because we’ve been in that situation twice. Argh. Now the mechanical key is stashed in this box which we placed in a hidden spot outside. Problem solved!
