It was smaller than expected but the ammo fits well and the box seems strong and sturdy.Great quality, durability and style. The black ammo can just looks better then the green ones. If you care about that. My first priority is keeping moisture out and construction. Then style. All is good.Great Boxes. Can be bought cheaper and military surplus if you can find them. However these work great and a good value for the money.I had some concerns when ordering, based on some of the lower star reviews about condition on arrival. My items arrived looking brand new and were in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend and won't hesitate to order more if I fill these up.Very heavy, sturdy and latches closed tight just like it should, using it to store some big 40 volt batteries inside the house with peace of mind not having to worry about any potential fire damage or worry about burying the house down! Would buy again if we ever need any more!Pros - stackable; don't have a strong "paint" odor when first openedCons - gasket seal doesn't; handle brackets crooked on 1 out of 2 orderedThese look like fairly standard 30 cal ammo cans, and unlike some non-mil-spec cans, they do seem to stack okay.There is a rubber gasket installed in the lid. However, it does not appear to seal. We live at high altitude, and typically, when ammo cans are delivered, the sides bow out a little and there is a definite release of pressure when first opened. Unless these cans were assembled at 7000' above sea level, the seal doesn't even hold against a small differential in air pressure.The other issue was that the brackets on the lids, that hold the handles, are tacked on crookedly on one of the cans. In the short term this isn't a big issue, but in the long term it will increase wear as all the force from the wire loops will be on one side, rather than evenly distributed.These aren't so bad I will return them; but I will not be ordered again and I could not recommend them for anything that requires a good seal.Sweet, pristine box (at least by ammo box standards) with clean lines, no rust/corrosion. The handle feels as sturdy as any I've ever encountered. The thing I like most is the smooth, flexible rubber gasket on the inside lid liner, ensuring no moisture/dust can possibly enter the can when closed. It even came w/ a silica gel packet inside to keep those silver-tipped rounds pristine for when the Werewolf is at your door!Next time I need another can I will look to Boomstick first. Get yours while you can!These ammo cans were exactly what I needed to clean up and organize my safe. And for the price, this was a good buy. Definitely will buy more when I need them.Yes this is a live ammo box the armed forces use for there bullets, however me and my RC model club use these to store our LiPo batteries. they are fire and explosion proof. I have 7 of these in various sizes. I don't know of any other way to safely store LiPo batteries.Fantastic quality cans! They came nicely packed and in perfect condition. They don't stack as perfectly as I would like, but its not bad! I would highly recommend.Solid and sturdy. It has a seal in it as well and it came with a dehumidifier pack to prevent the ammunition from getting moisturized. I live in a dry climate so i don’t know if it makes a difference.Awesome boxes!
