Product Description

Systagenix Promogran Prisma Ag - Matrix Dressing is made from a matrix of 55% collagen, 44% oxidised regenerated cellulose(ORC), and 1% ORC/Silver. This wound dressing helps to 'kick start' the healing process while providing protection from infection. When exudate mixes with the matrix the wound dressing becomes soft and conformable to the skin and can be worn for up to seven days. It is a biodegradable gel, allowing contact with all areas of the wound. Ideal for diabetic, venous, pressure and other ulcers. Also works well with traumatic and surgical wounds. Can be used under compression therapy. 4.34" hexagon shape with a healing pad of 2 1/4" x 2 1/4".

My patient doctor recommended this product and his wound on his heel is about half the size.It is very important to cut the piece smaller than the wound and only put it inside the wound. Do not put it bigger than the wound because then it gets built up around the skin. It is meant. To melt into the wound, put a little bit of water on the wound and then set it on there and wrap some gauze. It’s amazing. It did not come with instructions
