Product is a very natural gum. It is basically like chewing a piece of honeycomb absent the flavor, primary ingredient is Mastic (tree resin). For me I cannot detect any flavor aside from a very very slight, I assume, mastic flavor. This simply a chewing experience vs a need for flavor or sugar. If you know that, then you will be very satisfied with your purchase. I purchased this as an alternative to normal gum which is primarily made from plastic (youtube how gum is made!). After receiving, I found it was not exactly what I was expecting, which was to experience some sort of flavor, but also then did some research and found the numerous health benefits of chewing mastic, from lower cholesterol to settling bowls, antibacterial properties etc, and cleaning teeth even.Each piece of gum is a small flat shaped heart, that seems to expand after the initial chews. The longest I chewed a piece is about 20 minutes, and it maintained its chewing properties. Yes, it is worth a try, and to see if you get any health benefits also. Good Seller, does ship DHL from Egypt, but got still got mine in about a week.I literally finished 2 boxes in a month! It is amazing and addicting and I need to have it on a daily. It is not for everyone, I grew up eating natural gum in the Middle East and this gum brought back so many memories. It’s an essential for me and will be ordering every month!Amazing :-) So unusual this will be the first review I have ever written.Very cute unique package of natural sugar free gum is exactly as described.. Plus came with a colorful embroidered gold zippered ~3x5 "Egypt" bag, and took only five days to arrive from Alexandria, Egypt thru Cairo, London, etc. to California USA via DHL shipping. The gum softens up and chews great too, with a hint of flavor that I assume is mastic. All very unusual and fun. Even the outer shipping box was unusually sturdy, and the outer shipping bag had a beautiful image of pyramids and the Nile. What a great gift it would make delivered to a child, though I might also consider their sugared version of the heart gum. BTW these small cute SF hearts expand when chewed. It’s a delicious gum, and the texture is perfect, not too soft or too hard! I love everything about this gum! The shipping from Egypt was super fast! I received my gum today, and loved it so much that I had to immediately buy one for my sister!This is an unusual gum for us westerners. It is unlike anything I grew up with. I wanted a gum with zero sugar and not sugar-free sweeteners added which I found lacking in the U.S except for a competing company that gouges with their prices. It came nicely packaged and There was also a free gift of a small purse which was nice. The gum tastes like some kind of herb or cloves, not sure, but it is not offensive. It does stick to my teeth a bit as it is soft, but not bad. I am going to chew a piece for quite awhile and see if it hardens up with chewing.I really don't want to give a negative review because I really didn't understand what this mastiq gum is. It might be an iffy substance for ppl like myself with bridge work etc.. Sticks. But, if you know what this is and aren't expecting sweetness or the typical US type; then there are plenty, indiv. wrapped little heart shaped pieces in the box. And, as the other reviewer noted, I also got the cutest surprise with my order.Interesting herbal taste, and simple ingredients. Tends to get caught in my teeth, and is perhaps a little bland. but it's certainly worth a try for something different. It's not a burdensome expense to have a far off part of the world shipped to your house.Don't waste your money.
