Would be perfect for 8" round.I am using it for 9" round, naked unfrosted edges and it fits snug. It is perfect for what I wanted, which was a space saving cake holder.If you want to frost the sides of a 9inch cake this will not work. It touches the sides of an unfrosted 9".It’s very low qualityIf I could give it zero stars I would. Cheap thin plastic that arrived warped. If your looking to put a mini cake/pie in it, it would work but otherwise forget it. I now have a $18 dome lid that I'm using as the dogs water bowl outside until it gives. Didn't open until I was ready to use and was outside return window. Won't make that mistake again.
