We were reluctant to buy a cat litter box that costs $450-$750, and I researched a lot of cat litter boxes before we bought this one. Now that we have had it for a month, I can honestly say it was worth it! We have 5 cats (1 cat weights 18lbs, 2 cats weigh 8-10 lbs and 2 kittens that weigh 5-6 lbs. and it works great! No more scooping!! No more odor, and no cat litter tracked out of the litter box!! We just pull the trash bag full of our cats waste out of the bottom tray every 2-3 days and replace the special garbage bag, where as previously we had to clean litter 2 boxes daily! You build also use plastic grocery bag. Such a time saver and we are using less litter than before. We also got an alert that one of our kittens need attention, sure enough he had a stomach virus and had lost weight. So far I highly recommend this automatic cat litter box!! We saved money by purchasing the litter box on sale for $429 and then bought the step for $99 instead of the $699 for both together. You need to add litter every 2nd or 3rd day and I had to empty the bottom after about 5 days. I have 2 cats.Is quite pricey!It is pretty big, takes a lot of room and the cat potty area seems small compared.But overall, it's pretty nice and beats having to do it yourself!So I bought this cat litter box almost a year ago, I’ve been so happy because I dont have to worry about cleaning my cat litter every time he does his business but then all of a sudden the cat litter box stop working. Thanks to the seller❤️PROS: There are 4 cats in the household and even with multiple litter boxes it’s a twice a day chore to keep up. One cat is very picky and if it’s not almost perfectly clean each time he goes in he will do outside the box. With this device not only do the cats use it without issues but the picky one uses it the most now. No more daily scooping just check the litter level time to time. Everyone is happy.Neutral: The APP you have to use is a bit difficult to use in setting it up and can be confusing. Once I connected it the first time to WiFi it went back to the main part and had to redo the process over again which is when the device gets added by scanning the code. The flow could be better. Some unnecessary confirmations even after saving like a double save and word choices ‘will you pls confirm?’ Instead of save. It makes creating a cat profile a trial and error. I don’t see a way to add a custom picture. It request adding 12 pictures of the cats face for it but doesn’t explain why you have to upload 12. There’s also a few info things missing like knowing the UV is on. I don’t know how to confirm it has it beyond the box saying it has that feature. But overall while it could be cleaned up and tweaked some in the UI to improve the interaction. It works fine just keep trying if you run into issues. It’s not great but not bad which is why I don’t call it a Con.CONS: I wish it included stairs. I don’t know why some stairs reviews were mixed with these reviews for the product. I thought it came with it based on the picture and it’s not explicit that it’s not included. When I ordered they weren’t shown as a buy together or option/accessory in my results at the time. I have a box in front of it and it works fine. I can’t justify the cost of the stairs when there’s other products a similar in price point which includes the accessories.Overall I think it’s a recommended buy when it’s on sale. I’m happy with it and it works great for 4 cats. If it’s not on sale then pick the one with 36 month warranty and includes a bunch of accessories for a bit more, the price point isn’t competitive enough at full price in my opinion.This one is way better than litter robot and half the price. Looks nicer too and the app is great.This is soooo worth it. I just "cleaned" it and no nasty smell and the cats won't be stepping in pee or poop just litter. I love itI have tried ALL and I mean ALL the many Automatic litterbox options, and this is the best one I have ever had, The Litter-Robot is good, but this is way better. It can recognize your individual pets by weight (which works most of the time) but they also have collar tags they call UFO, they are hard to find in the US, but I contacted the company in china, and they sold them to me. Once it knows each cat, it tracks how often it uses the litter box, and it will work with their food and water bowls to tell you how much they are eating and drinking, to give you an overall health report and history. The app tracks all kinds of stuff about your pets. Very well thought out. The litter box has a huge waste drawer so even with 7 cats I only have to empty the litter box every few days. It has a deodorizer in the waste drawer, so I never smell any cat waste smells. Now for the best part, my cat who is deathly afraid of our Litter-Robot will go in this litterbox, maybe the step makes it less scary. I think it is also because it is quieter when it runs. so she is not afraid of it. It is pricey, but would I go back to scooping litter...NO!
