Not the least bit heavy when full, doesn't take up a lot of space either.Bought as a gift for someone who's sentiment tal and has a lot of old family photos and such. Useful for the purpose but the product seems pretty flimsy. Water resistant and fire resistant though so will offer some protection.I haven't used it yet. It seems a little flimsy. Nice size though.This is a nice file box and holds files just fine although some of the reviewers stated they should add some metal to the top of the box to allow the files to slide around. I agree, but it’s not that hard to move the files around. It’s compact and you can put a lot of files in this. I like the handles too and the locking feature. The lock and the box aren’t theft proof but they do offer a deterrent and you’d have to use a sharp knife to compromise the box. If you have anything of value I’d recommend not using this box for valuables. Get a safe for those things! But if you need to store files or important papers this is a great option. It also folds up which is nice if you are not using it.I don't have a lot of papers to file so this file box fit the bill perfectly. Even though I doubt we'll have a fire hazard, it's nice to know that this thing will withstand some heat. Also, it holds a surprising amount of files.This file box with a lock is great! I love it! Will be getting more it organozes vreat!The product is ok, but customer service is that to be desired. I asked them a question via email, they responded with a question. I provided them the proper response and never heard from them again. They never answered my question!!Well made and lots of roomPerfect size to store items securely with the locking zippers. Of course haven't tested its fire durability but it does have a rough kind of rubber texture. Lid is perfect too. Recommend highly.
