Spacious and beautiful storage for display.You can see the warping of the edges of the inside against the side of the box. Whatever adhesive was used doesn’t stick. The middle of the top part isn’t glued down properly and “bounces.” You can see this by how it doesn’t align at the edge with the rest of the edges and corners. There is paint stains or glue on the sides of the glass, the stitching is terrible, loose threads all over (see example).Bottom line, will it hold you your pens or protect them in suitcase? Yes to the first and probably for the second. Will it look good and/professional on a desk. NO. If you’re looking for a quality pen box, go elsewhere. The materials, craftsmanship are definitely sub par.My first order showed up with the glass top shattered. Glass spilled out all over my office, therefore I didn't look over the item closely. If I had I would not have ordered a replacement.Case is mediocre looking with faux leather (looks more like colored heavy paper) and decent silver hardware. The pen slots are flimsy and the material is not attached giving it a very cheap feel. I will keep it as I will only use it as a display and will not be using the pen drawers very often. If you plan to move pens around for different displays keep looking - this is not for you.My pen case came quickly.... But there is a crack in the glass lid.Due to the pandemic, I won't be able to return case.Otherwise the pen slots work well for my growing fountain pen collection.I bought this box to store my crochet hooks.
