I bought this case because the size was perfect for my small collection of nice watches; I needed a place to store them to protect them from getting knocked around and scratched, yet keep them accessible for when I want to wear one. The large glass window lets me admire them without obscuring the view with my engraved initials, a feature which might stroke my ego if I was slightly more impressed with myself, but would detract from the beauty of the watches themselves. As for the case itself, it was quite inexpensive but I was surprised -- very surprised -- by the quality and appearance. It looks and feels very solid and strong, and the finish is gorgeous. A fitting display for my beautiful timepieces!- The Case: It looks great. I have 18 watches I wanted to display and store so this case fits the bill. I also love the handy storage area underneath for placing my extra watch pins and bands.- The Watch Pillows: The watch pillows worked well for my wrist size. I bought another case and found the pillows TOO large. So much so I couldn't clasp my watches with metal bands around them. Be careful of this if you have small wrists and metal bands.*Note: as of this review I bought the 12 slot case but I needed another case for with just 6 slots.
