The pad is long soft and absorbent. I like that they can be reused; thereby reducing waste.I couldn’t see spending big bucks for something I’m going to throw away after each use. I have used the Shark brand which worked well and this one did just as good a job for a fraction of the cost. To do my 2600 sq ft of tile I use 3 cloths and throw them away after each use. I k ow I could save more money by washing them but I just can’t stand putting this in my washing machine. For me it’s worth the money. I’m no youngster and clean my house without help. This is my cleaning splurge. My Shark steam mop is many years old and does the best job of getting my floors clean along with these microfiber pads.
