It is way smaller than I thought it would be. I did not read that you have to keep winding it yourself to make the music play, that was my fault. I bought my mother a howl’s moving castle music box and it was amazing so I just assumed this was the same, also my fault. I love the carvings but everything else seems very cheaply made. Don’t really recommend unless this is what you are looking for.Very detailed wodden music box, very small with the cutest sound that comes from it fromt he theme of pink panther. Very nice peice.The two music boxes I ordered in January were meant to be Valentine's day gifts for my granddaughters. One was to go to California the other to Washington. Well they arrived a few days after I ordered them, spoiling the surprise for Valentine's day.They LOVED the music boxes and the Sailor Moon Theme. They are not too big so they were able to put on shelf or nightstand. The tune was recognized immediately. Good value for the price.
