I waited a couple months to leave a review to see how well it performs through the winter. I ordered this tool box to keep my tools from disappearing and getting abused when I have a day off and someone else takes my truck out. This box has exceeded my expectations as far as keeping my tools dry and durability . I'm a professional mover and mounted this in the back of my moving truck. To mount it the way I wanted I had to drill a couple of 5/8 inch holes in the bottom of it I was impressed with the thickness of the steel. I can't say how water resistant this thing would be mounted on the outside of a vehicle but I have it mounted on the very tail end of my truck and when the cargo doors are open this thing gets pelted with rain and snow and I haven't had any moisture get inside. There was a small ding on one side of it from shipping so the only suggestion I would make to the company for improvements is to add some foam to the Box that it ships in because UPS isn't exactly kind to heavy packages.
