I was surprised how Beautiful the box is in person when it came! It’s larger than it shows on Amazon and the walnut finish is just Beautiful. It also looks Wonderful on my dresser, and with a little 1/4 inch recess on the top, it was the perfect place to put my crystal perfume tray with a felt liner underneath.The only Con I have is the lock really has no functionality if you’re planning to use the locking function on a regular basis. It’s thin…but it Is an aesthetically Pleasing add, nevertheless.Yet, if I wanted a safe-type of box with a sturdy lock and key function for the protection of valuables, I can always buy one on Amazon (they sell Several) or go to the bank and use a safety deposit box.This chest was purchased for the Beauty, Size and storage of Costume jewelry.I am Completely Pleased and Satisfied with this purchase and Love it!So if you’re considering purchasing this Beautiful Chest and find my review exactly what you’re also looking for, I know you will Love it also!
