Great quality in the build and function. The lid opens smoothly and shuts cleanly. The plastic viewing window was a concern for me but the end result is very clean and looks like glass. The drawers function smoothly. The individual channels are wide enough to handle my thickest fountain pens. Great value.I am using this beautiful pen box for my crochet hooks. It works perfectly & looks so beautiful on display in my craft room. I love it!I've collected fountain pens for more then 15 years. Most display cases I have considered cost three to five times and hold fewer pens than this model. I was gifted two other cases (one at $400+ and one at $300) that hold fewer pens. So when I discovered and ordered this case my expectations were low. But I reasoned that unless it was seriously flawed it would be a better case than the cigar boxes I was using for most of my collection. I was very pleasantly surprised to get my case within a few days of the order. It was in every way the best value for the money display case I've ever owned. It arrived carefully packaged and when unboxed looking exactly like the picture. I bought two more immediately and will not hesitate to purchase again. Highly recommend.The same that I requestedThis pen display case is very nice & looks great!Draws work fine - one is not exactly line up on its own but does work its way to pretty much work. If no problem with one drawer I would have given it 5-stars.For the price - I'll keep it.This pen display case was a temporary purchase for me, as I saved for something made of real wood. Upon arrival there were a few things I noticed:• There was a stain on the felt lining where the pens stay.• A small fracture on the "glass" top.• The drawers do not like to cooperate with each other. They seem to rest on another and will pull on each other.• The top hinges are very loose and fragile.• The felt lining has glue spots that you can see through it and also are not fully placed into their respective spots.I know this is a less expensive display case, however it is worth much less in terms of how much the company charges for it. This is a very disappointing product, however it seems to temporarily serve its purpose as I save for something worth the cost.It’s a nice pen box. Nothing fancy, just a solid box that can hold 32 pens. The drawers slide in and out easily...which is both good and bad, especially since it doesn’t have a key lock system. The color is on the darker side but it works for me.I have been looking for a display case for my Retro 51 pens and this work perfect for them.This is a well-made, gently polished pen box that holds big pens well. The wood is matt stained with a sombre and noble looking dark wood. The trays are in creamy beige and make a lovely contrast. The box holds 34 pens but does not take up much space.
