The portion are a nice sized meals but be careful of how much you put in. Unfortunately both my boxes would be “closed” and open so easily…I would suggest a clip that keeps all layers to the bento boxes, together. That was my main issue. This was my only recommendation, overall nice product.I like the design and everything. But I'd prefer that it doesn't come all scratched up and looking like it's been dropped a million times. It's a gift so hopefully they don't notice. Not exactly happy. Other than that it's a decent bento box, just wish it had more compartments
