We put these in our nest boxes to train our chickens to lay eggs in there and not to peck at the eggs. They are well made, sturdy, and very realistic looking. One chicken did not like them in the nest box when it went to lay so they kicked them out and all the way across the coop a few times and the egg had no damage at all. These look and feel like real eggs. It's doing to be difficult to separate the real eggs in the nesting boxes.Gonna try and glue it together...Helped my hens lay their first eggs in nesting boxes. Eggs look so real it’s hard to tell which ones are the fake ones. Our hens would only lay in one box. So I covered them. They rebelled and laid on the floor. These eggs did the trick. Covering keeps the hens from crowding and eggs trick them to try a new box. Good value!
