Faber-Castell 50 Oil Pastels Set - Portable Artist Coloring Tools in Plastic Case | Ideal for Sketching, Drawing & School Art Projects

Vibrant fun colors and, as far as oil pastels go, relatively easy to scrub off a table. The case is comfortable and fun enough that my daughter is actually keeping her colors in it (she usually leaves her materials everywhere). My only complaint is that for these reason these are not very good for the technique where you do one color, layer another color on top, then use a toothpick or scraping tool to scrape designs in color n.2 that are seen in color n. 1. As this is one of my favorite things to do with oil pastels, I am a bit disappointed that this does not seem to work with these bars (probably due to the composition, but perhaps this is better/healthier for kids).
