Unfortunately, the trays are just too short (front to back length) to allow some of my watches to lie flat - so unless the straps can fold over flat - like a link band, nato band or leather band that folds flat, it won't hold a completely flat watch and band of any normal length. The top on mine stays open when you open it - it doesn't fall down - and the compartments are of a good size and depth to accommodate many things.Fantastic beautiful good qualityLooked good until we started opening the package.
