So, I was supposed to make something like this for my sister-in-laws wedding but I couldn't make it work with the tools I had. My wife freaked out because it was 5 days before the wedding and we had no ring box for her little sisters wedding. I looked through the different options on Etsy, thinking we could do something hand-made on that platform but they wanted $40+ for one little box she would use 1 flipping time! Our 4-year-old son was supposed to be the ring bearer and I could just see him with a box with no lid, losing the rings. So, with the time and box specifications in mind I looked on Amazon.I will be honest, after reading some of the reviews mentioned above I was a little nervous. My wife did not tell her sister we were doing this because she didn't want her to freak out. I decided that based on the time frame we had and the budget to go ahead and buy this one. We are so GLAD we did. The ring box came in perfect time and my sister-in-law was so happy with it! The lid is a little tight but that works perfectly because it means the lid isn't sliding around opening and closing all of the time. She didn't have any trouble with the bark or the size of the ring hole. Both his and her rings fit in it perfectly and without trouble.As far as the lid and base goes, they were a perfect match. We had no issues with color or size. It's not huge and bulky, it is dainty and the perfect size for a ring box. I would 100% recommend this product to anyone.
