The box is nice and well made but the image on the tile was not as pictured. It had drifted up so that about an extra 1/8” of the cat was cut off. You can also see a large amount of glue in the gap between the tile and the edge of the recessed area it sits in.The ceramic plate, with the design on it comes out. So if the box is opened it falls out. Looks like it was glued but didn't adhere. Instead of sending it back I chose to super glue it in. So far it has worked. It's a gift so I'm hoping it stays in place. It's a nice box. Just wish the plate didn't fall out .The ceramic plate fell out immediately after opening, looks like they used a hot glue gun that did not hold well. I decided to re glue it myself because I didn't want to hassle with sending it back, but for the money I paid, i shouldn't have had to glue it back together.Charming little box! It is as small as the description says, so make sure that what you want to put inside will be apt. I made it into a tea bag box. The picture on the top faces the opposite way than the example shows, so it’s facing you when you open it up. I love the original Lewis Carroll version of Alice in Wonderland so this was ideal.It was a gift. She loved it!This was a gift for my niece who loves Alice in Wonderland. The box itself is sturdy and of good quality. I got her the black and it’s a gloss black which I loved! Came in a nice box protected by materials that won’t allow it to be scratched or damaged during shipping. Looked like it was packaged and made carefully. Couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase!!This is beautiful! I got the black lacquer. It is very well made and the tile has very intricate art work. The wood shines and is very smooth. It's a decent size to hold a few pieces of jewelry or whatever you want. It's much better than I expected.This box is lovely. It has a beautiful picture on the front and it doesn't look cheap at all.
