The only con I can think of is that it requires a little more preparation then just packing a normal lunch, but it’s so worth it!! U could maybe slow cook certain food ( like eggs) but I would not recommend cooking unless u don’t mind waiting half a day to cook it. The only preparation is cooking the food the previous day and then planning a head when ur going to eat lunch ( and cleaning it out every time). I do lawn care for a living so I don’t have a set lunch time but I normally eat around noon, if I have the container filled up with food I will turn it on 2 hours before I eat but if it’s filled up about half with food then I’ll warm it up about an 1 hour and half before I eat. I’ve warmed up taco meat ,chicken and wild rice so far with this unit and it’s been great With no cold spots in the food. The bottom of the lunch bag it comes in gets warm but not to hot. I just set it on my lap and eat with problem of it being to hot. Cleaning it after use is very easy to, I have no problems with that.Conclusion if ur like me and ur sick of eating cold sandwiches Over and over again and againand don’t want to waste money at gas stations for there junky foodThen this is perfect for u, and at a great price
