Covered a plate with a hole that I know I will never use because I know I will not subscribe to cable or satellite. Most stuff I watch via my roku and I lost interest with cable in general. If it is something that I really want to watch I'll watch it via Netflix.Was just planning to leave the plate with the center hole, but decided it looked bad with tape over it. So I'm like what the heck I'll splurge a couple of dollars and make it look good so no spiders will be able to escape from inside the walls.I have several power outlets and cable box outlets that I just don't use anymore. So I bought a few of these and voila, super clean looking trim on the wall that blends in, with no draft and no bugs.Simple $0.50 solution and 2 mins each to install.Very sexy. You'll love this. You'll want to buy more of them and give them to your friends. Not really, but it is as advertised.It works as it should. What else can I say about a cover?straightforward cover - does the job at the right priceas expected this was fine. did know realize the "standard size" is smaller than the cable one which i was replacing, however nothing against this product, more of an FYI. would reccomend for cheap standard replacement.Hard to know how this might not have worked. The holes were in the right place, it was the white color expected, and it fit over the standard sized but shallow box I wanted to use it with.Bright white, fit well, looks good. Came with screws. Needed to jam screwdriver tip into holes to clear excess material and allow screws to pass through. Easy peasy.
