Nice little piece of equipment. I’ve used it twice so far. I’m a small time quail raiser, raising for family consumption. It wasn’t difficult to put together but the screws to attach the light were wrong so I substituted some I had. I have indoor cats so I do put mine inside an extra pet cage and I did glue in and then added tape to the front plastic see- through panel bc my adopted feral- turned self domesticated hunter cat likes to stick her hand through the bars to look for weak spots ? but I like it. I use it the first week for my cortunix quail hatches. It’s not hard to clean and I think it’ll hold up for quite a while as long as you have a floor covering like a puppy pad or some paper and then about 2 inches up on all sides. The light is POWERFUl so no worries about keeping the heat up. It’s good for us small time ppl and I paid $40 for it so I’m happy with the value as long as you clean it properly which you should be doing with any brooder. I’d buy another one of it if my numbers of hatches got higher. Very pleased.
