this product is high quality but the fit wasn't for me. I liked the fact that there was storage. It was easy to install and looked nice. It just sat in the wrong place for my needs.I actually returned the item just because it seemed way to big in my compact suv. there is probably a reason why the car manufacturer doesn’t include one…it matched my interior well but just felt a little too wobbly for me to justify the additional clutter.I have a bad shoulder, if my arm is just hanging the weight of my arm makes it worse. My Honda Fit armrest was too low and narrow to properly support my arm. I was able to set this at the perfect height to support while still being able to hold the steering wheel properly. Very easy to adjust. Not made with super sturdy materials, probably cost $5 to make so the $40 price tag is steep, but if it means driving pain free, worth every penny. I drove 12 hours with no long breaks recently, no arm or shoulder pain whatsoeverI have arthritis in discs in my neck. My car doesn’t have arm rests. My hands sometimes get numb and tingly.
